Colts and Chargers in epic battle

The Colts and Chargers played out an intense battle for survival on Saturday with scores tied at the end of full time.

The Colts put the first points on the board with Addai crossing for the TD, and then the Chargers responded in the 2nd quarter with TD’s to Tomlinson and Sproles – a field goal to Vinatieri keeping the Colts in touch.
A third quarter TD to Reggie Wayne was then the only score in the second half until with 33 seconds to go a Chargers drive ended with Kaeding knocking over the equalising field goal from 26 yards.

Overtime started with the Chargers driving strongly to get into Indy territory, and then two penalties against the Colts brought the Chargers from 40yards to 20yards and still a first down. Rivers sent Sprole running for the touchdown and the Chargers advanced to the second weekend.
